This is the only warranty given by Macrotec (Pty) Ltd (from hereon called Macrotec). No amendments or additions to the warranty shall be binding on Macrotec.

Macrotec Pressure Vessels are warrantied against faulty materials and workmanship during manufacture. Macrotec will at its sole discretion repair, or replace, the faulty item(s) with new or remanufactured one(s). This warranty expressly covers the pressure vessel only, and does not cover any other part or parts of the installation which may as a consequence of the failure or defect of the pressure vessel become damaged.

The period of warranty is calculated from the date of manufacture. Repairs or replacements carried out under warranty do not extend the warranty on the product.

This warranty is only valid if:

• The vessel is installed and operated in accordance with Macrotec specifications and procedures. This includes temperature and pressure parameters. See owner’s manual for more information;
• Water conditions comply to SANS 241 specifications;
• All products used in the installation complies with SANS specifications and regulations;
• The vessel is installed under cover and not exposed directly to the weather;
• There is no exposed carbon steel in any piping connected to the vessel;
• No structural repairs or modifications are made;
• Maintenance is done as per the Owner’s Manual;
• A sacrificial anode/(s) is installed with all vessels. The anode must be inspected on yearly basis and replaced if necessary.

• Pressure vessel structure: 3 years
• Interior lining: 2 years
• Lagging & Cladding: 2 years
• Other Accessories: OEM Warranty

Electrical elements are not covered by the warranty due to the adverse effects hard water can have.
